Staff and students at All Hallows RC Business, Enterprise and Sports College were delighted this week when they received the long awaited news of a new school facility. As part of the government's Building Schools for the Future programme (BSF) this new and enhanced school facility will allow All Hallows RC to further develop its existing specialisms and innovations in teaching and learning . The school, rated as outstanding by Ofsted currently occupies a site on Weaste Lane. Under the latest proposals; subject to Cabinet approval, the new building will be built on part of the existing site of Oasis Academy after the former Hope High school completes their move to Ordsall.
Plans are to build a 600 place school scheduled for a September 2014 opening. Salford Diocese is fully supportive of the new build for All Hallows which will include enhanced sporting facilities.
Acting Head teacher, Mrs Andrea Cavanagh commented, "We are absolutely delighted that the hard working pupils and staff at All Hallows will finally have the state of the art facilities they deserve. This is fantastic news for all associated with the school. By moving just a few hundred yards the school can maintain its strong links with the community built up over many years. We are confident that this move will help the school to continue to achieve outstanding results for future generations."

All Hallows School Cricket is developing nicely with a little help from Clifton Cricket Club.
P.E. teacher and local cricketer Chris Tye reports that as little as three years ago All Hallows School played no cricket and with a lack of facilities in the area pupils did not have any experience of the game.
After establishing a link with Clifton, Lancashire coaches came into the school to coach through the 'Chance to Shine' initiative and a culture of cricket began to emerge at the All Hallows.
